So, I created this blog to remind us of the great and funny things that our kids do everyday and we never seem to remember.
We've had a lot of big events and funny moments lately. There's something about summer that seems to bring out the best (and worst) in the Pooley children.
Some of our latest accomplishments are Alice learning to ride her bike without training wheels, Gigi becoming a racing superstar on her two-wheel scooter and both girls learning new and amazing tricks in gymnastics camp. We'll post pics and a little description of everything as soon as we can.
Meanwhile, Gigi, our resident comedian, has a bit of 3 (soon to be 4 yr old) wisdom to share with you all.
Nick and I went running in Liberty State Park this morning. Gigi wanted to go with Nick to the car to change out of his wet running clothes. She's a very observant child and has already noticed since Oliver has been born that boys and girls are different. So, in the interest of honesty and education, we told the girls what each part of the anatomy is called. So, while they're in the car, Gigi sees Nick's rear end. At this she remarks,"Daddy, you have more fur on your booty than Alice." Then she adds,"Boys have a peanut and girls have a china." Yes, Gigi, yes they do.
